Today the Teledaktar team has completed its first successful year of Teledaktar programme and is very proud of being able to make a significant difference to the lives of the patients in rural and remote areas of Bangladesh.

At the inception of the programme the Teledaktar team took a pledge to make primary medical care accessible to the ultra-poor, especially women and children of Bangladesh, through video conferencing. To achieve this goal they have worked tirelessly for the last 12 months, resolving all the challenges that came their way with enthusiasm, dedication and  commitment. This positivity is now reflecting clearly in the growth of the programme.

In one year the TD team has served 3000 patients of which 70% is female.

In one year the TD team has established their services in 13 centres to provide free of cost medical consultancy using technology.

In one year the TD team has become the integral part of the settlers of 3 sand banks in northern Bangladesh where torrential rain and recurring floods paralyze the life of the community on a regular basis by making all fundamental facilities inaccessible.

Moving forward the TD team is not going to be complacent with the service they are providing to the rural communities of Bangladesh but wil endeavor to achieve new benchmarks and milestones through continuous innovation.  Many more anniversaries, many more success stories and many more achievements are yet to come! Till then, the team is committed to keep up the good work and keep aspiring for more.
