Bangladesh has a long history of natural disasters.The geographical location, land characteristics, multiplicity of rivers and the monsoon climate render Bangladesh highly vulnerable to natural hazards. We have observed that due to inclement weather sometimes patients from remote regions are unable to reach our Teledaktar centers. This will become a major issue during monsoon season. In response to this challenge and to make our programme more client responsive Teledaktar is now aiming to bring and deliver the service to our patients’ courtyard. In preparation for the monsoon season we have already selected some char areas for running feasibility tests. We aim to run some sessions in these remote areas in few weeks time.
